Facelift and Neck Lift

Mini, standard and deep plane facelift

Contrary to popular belief, a modern facelift does not simply pull the skin tighter. The deeper support layer of the face known as the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) is repositioned to create natural and longer-lasting results.

A facelift can improve sagging cheeks, deep nasolabial folds, marionette lines, jowls along the jawline, loss of facial definition and loose skin of the lower face.

A neck lift is often performed together with a facelift and addresses loose neck skin, turkey neck deformity, vertical neck bands, double chin, loss of jawline definition and excess neck fat. It restores a smoother transition between the face and neck, creating a sharper and more youthful profile.

Facial aging occurs through several mechanisms: skin laxity as collagen and elastin decline; volume loss as fat compartments shrink and descend; gravity drawing soft tissues downward; muscle changes creating visible neck bands; and bone remodeling as facial skeletal support diminishes.

Techniques and options

Mini facelift

Best for early signs of aging, mild jowls and younger patients. Smaller incisions, faster recovery, less downtime.

Standard facelift

Best for moderate facial aging, visible jowls, deep folds and neck laxity. Comprehensive rejuvenation with long-lasting, natural results.

Deep plane facelift

Best for significant facial aging and advanced tissue descent. Powerful lifting effect, improved midface elevation, longer-lasting outcomes.

Neck liposuction

For excess fat under the chin with mild skin laxity.

Platysmaplasty

For neck bands and muscle separation. The neck muscles are tightened to create a smoother contour.

Skin redraping

For significant loose skin. Excess skin is removed and repositioned.
